New Water Use Efficiency Rebates for Unincorporated Areas

Just Announced: The County of San Diego and the San Diego County Water Authority have teamed together to offer new and increased rebates for water-saving landscapes and features 


With the new Waterscape Rebate Program, San Diego County property owners in the unincorporated areas can receive rebates of: 

  1. Starting at $3 and up to $6 per square foot to replace high-water use turf
  2. $80 per weather-based irrigation controller (WBIC) or $60 per station
  3. Up to $2,100 to capture rain through a rain barrel, cistern, garden, or other rain-saving feature
  4. Up to $4 per square foot plus customized landscape design services to transform large landscapes
  5. Up to $5,000 per grower to install agricultural irrigation upgrades
  6. $15 per square foot to upgrade old driveways and parking lots with porous pavement
  7. $100 to pump your homes septic tank

This program is funded and managed by the County of San Diego and available to Santa Fe Irrigation Customers in unincorporated areas of San Diego County (Rancho Santa Fe and portions of Fairbanks Ranch)
