The Santa Fe Irrigation District headquarters on Linea del Cielo will re-open to the public on July 6, 2021. District offices closed in March 2020 in response to the Governor’s stay-at-home order. In light of the relaxation of restrictions by the State and County, and in accordance with Cal/OSHA workplace standards, the front office will be staffed and open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. alternating on Fridays. All visitors and staff will be asked to follow CDC guidance and wear a mask if not vaccinated. SFID appreciates your cooperation so we can ensure the safety of our staff and continue to serve the community. Customers are always welcome to drop their payment in one of two secure drop boxes located at the entrance of the District parking lot or by the front door of the office or pay online.
SFID will also resume in-person Board of Directors meetings beginning in August. However, the meeting will be held in the District’s Safety Center, as opposed to the traditional Boardroom in the District’s main office. This modification will accommodate additional space, ventilation, and technical access requirements. Community members and guests will be asked to sign-in and follow CDC requirements for masks if not vaccinated. Committee meetings will resume the first week in August, and the formal Board of Directors meetings are held the third Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. Audio of the meetings will be broadcast live on You Tube. Public comment can be made via telephone or in-person for the full Board meeting, but public comments must be made in person for the committee meetings. Additional information on attendance, public comment and broadcast channels will be posted with the agenda packet, available at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. The agenda packet can be found at www.sfidwater.org.
